Who holds Washington accountable when government power goes too far? From federal regulations to the use of government authority, the stakes reach well beyond the headlines.
Our November speaker, Jeffrey Clark, brings an insider’s perspective shaped by senior roles in both Trump administrations and a career at the intersection of law, public policy and executive power. Clark is Vice President of Litigation at the Oversight Project, an organization dedicated to investigating government misconduct and advancing accountability through legal action. He most recently served in President Trump’s White House as Acting Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, the influential office responsible for reviewing federal regulations. Previously, he led the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and served as Acting Assistant Attorney General for its Civil Division. With extensive experience in government and private practice, Clark brings a firsthand understanding of how Washington exercises power and the legal battles shaping efforts to hold it accountable.
