The 21st Century Alliance is proud to endorse Mark Pulido for Assembly because of his longstanding commitment to achieving measurable outcomes. California can solve its greatest challenges, but only if we elect more candidates like Mark Pulido, who put results over politics.
Cerritos Councilmember Mark Pulido is the leading candidate for the open 67th Assembly District.
A long time district resident, Councilmember Pulido started his elected public service at the age of 32 as the youngest member of the ABC Unified School Board of Education, serving three terms. He was elected to the Cerritos City Council in 2011 with the most votes in city history and re-elected in 2015, serving as Cerritos Mayor twice in 2014-2015 and 2018-2019. Most recently he was re-elected to the Cerritos City Council in 2025 as the top vote-getter.
Pulido worked nearly three decades in local, state and federal government, as Assembly Consultant to the CA Speaker, State Senate District Director, and most recently as District Chief of Staff to Congressman Alan Lowenthal (Ret.).
As a seasoned Councilmember, Pulido engaged with his colleagues and stakeholders to solve problems with compassion and common sense as demonstrated by his track record of accomplishments: most notably improving public safety, and reducing residential burglaries (by 35%). Funding neighborhood improvements: street repair, fixing sidewalks, filling potholes and park renovations, while always focused on strengthening the local economy in partnership with small business owners.
Councilmember Pulido has been endorsed by CA Attorney General Rob Bonta, Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore Josh Lowenthal, Assemblymember Mia Bonta and the Los Angeles/Orange County Building and Construction Trades Council, just to name a few.
