Contributions are not tax deductible. Contributions are unlimited and may be accepted from any source. Contributions over $1,500 from a party or attorney appearing in a proceeding in Judge Begert’s court, or who is likely to appear in his court in the future, will trigger Judge Begert's disqualification from the proceeding. The campaign may not deposit your contribution without your name, street address, occupation and employer, and may not accept cash, cashier’s checks or money orders of $100 or more. The campaign may not accept contributions which have been reimbursed by another person unless you inform us of the true source of the contribution, and may also not accept contributions from foreign nationals. The campaign may not, and is not, soliciting contributions from retired judges serving in the Temporary Assigned Judges Program, Court Commissioners, referees, court-appointed arbitrators, or hearing officers.
