Campaign finance laws can be difficult and confusing. We have created additional protections in place to protect you and me from making simple errors. Below describes the legal language that safeguards us.
Contributions limits are $1000 for the 2024 general election. Only individuals may contribute to a San Diego County Supervisor campaign. Spouses are considered separate contributors and must disclose and agree to their donation.
Contributions may not be accepted from foreign nationals unless they are a permanent resident (Green Card holder). Campaign finance laws prohibit reimbursing donors for their contributions. Contributions are non-tax deductible for federal or California tax purposes.
By making this contribution, you are giving your consent that your credit card donation will be allocated in the following sequence.
First to Anderson for Supervisor 2024 up to the $1,000 per election limit. The remainder will be allocated to Anderson for Central Committee 2024. A donation made by a business, committee, or any other non-individual, will be allocated to Anderson for Central Committee 2024.
