Contribution rules
We may accept contributions totaling a maximum of $3,300 for the primary election from individuals. Contributions to Patrick Lee Gipson for Congress are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act. That law prohibits federal contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. By submitting your contribution, you agree that the amount that you contribute up to $3,300 is designated for the 2024 primary election. To comply with federal law, we must use best efforts to obtain, maintain, and submit the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are limited to personal funds of $3,300 per person per election, primary and general – for a total of $6,600 per individual. Contributions from qualified PACs are limited to $5,000 per election, primary and general.
