By donating, you confirm the following:
I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions are not deductible for tax purposes.
The maximum contribution an individual, business, labor union, political committee, or other donor may contribute is $36,400 for the primary election and an additional $36,400 for the general election. Contributions from personal, business, labor union, and PAC accounts are acceptable. Contributions from individuals and businesses they own or control will be aggregated together and subject to a single contribution limit.
State and federal laws prohibit contributions from foreign nationals and foreign principals; contributions from lawful permanent residents (green card holders) are permitted. Contributions must come from the donor's own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person or entity.
If a donor’s contributions to this committee and other California state or local committees total $10,000 or more during the calendar year, California law requires the donor to file a Major Donor Committee Campaign Statement (Form 461).
