We are less than 50 days away from the most important and historical Long Beach election on June 7th. On that day, you will be able to not only elect the first woman City Attorney, but a City Attorney who has spent her life making Long Beach a better place in which to live, work and retire!

Gerrie Schipske brings over three decades of legal and management experience to the Office of City Attorney.  She is the only candidate for City Attorney who has served at the local, state and national levels and brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of legislative and legal affairs.

Gerrie Schipske is also the only candidate for City Attorney who has received national recognition for her tireless efforts to make Long Beach City government open, transparent, and accountable, not to mention ethical.

Gerrie Schipske is the only candidate for City Attorney who stood up for water ratepayers when the City imposed a 12% surcharge. She assembled a legal team and won in court three times! Now water ratepayers are owed a substantial refund for the illegal taxing of water.

Gerrie Schipske is the only candidate for City Attorney discussing the issues that voters are concerned about: Anti-Corruption, Neighborhood Protection, Aggressive, Proactive Risk Management and Fiscal Responsibiity. Gerrie has pledged to roll-back the increases in the City Attorney's salary that makes it the highest in the State at $319,000.00.
